The MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show, which is the longest running and most popular watch and Jewellery event in the region, is an ideal channel for reaching out to highly affluent individuals. Shanghai has become a leading hub with exchange centres at the heart of the jewelry industry – offering trading in gold, plated gold, diamond and silver.
With its robust economy, modern services and fast-maturing business environment, Shanghai is well placed for investment and trading. Exhibitors from 15 countries and areas, including China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Singapore, India, Myanmar, Italy, Belgium, Australia, etc., were assembled over an exhibit area of 8,200 square meters.
All the 400 booths were fully occupied with a wide range of exhibits, including all kinds of diamonds, gold, jadeite, precious stones, palladium, platinum, silver, packaging materials, manufacturing machinery, gemstone identification instruments, etc. This year, the Korean Pavilion showcased a lot of captivating and glamorous exhibits, ranging from gold, silver jewellery to jade or diamond-set jewelry made by the Korea Jewellery Design Association members.
